Welcome to OpenTesting
OpenTesting is an open-source framework for standardized testing. It enables academic and business institutions to create their own skill and knowledge tests while providing free and unlimited resources to candidates to practice for them. It can also help you design an informal quiz just for fun, and for free.
The goal of OpenTesting is to make standardized tests as open as possible, so anyone - regardless of their resources - can access the same preparation materials, take the test in the same conditions, and understand their score with the same acuity.
Open test banks
OpenTesting can turn a single exam question into thousands of similar but unique variations, hereby providing a way to scale up test banks by many orders of magnitude. As such, scaling up test banks with OpenTesting can defeat rote memorization test-taking strategies and enables the publication of entire test banks out in the open without any risk of compromising any test.
Open test scores
OpenTesting maintains transparency all the way down to its final test scores. How? By making all its scoring algorithms openly accessible to everyone, so test candidates and test administrators can always inspect how scores are calculated from raw answer sheets.
Open source code
OpenTesting is open source, so anyone can inspect the entire source code of the framework all the way down to its deepest ramifications.
